A short, friendly agreement for cafés hosting Nearbuy handshakes. Six commitments — that's it.

   Welcome the meetup

   When a Scout or Maker walks in for a handshake, greet them warmly. They're your customers too.

2. 2

   Stay open during posted hours

   Keep your hours up to date in the Partner Portal. If you're closing early or for a holiday, set "Closed" for that day.

3. 3

   Honour your member-only deals

   If you have a deal active, please honour it for any Nearbuy member who shows their handshake confirmation.

   Keep the space safe

   No backroom deals, no cash-only side trades. Handshakes happen in your public seating area in plain view.

   Tell us if anything goes wrong

   Anything from a noisy meetup to a no-show — let us know via the Partner Portal's Help tab and we'll handle it.

   Display the badge proudly

   Once approved, put your Official Handshake Zone sticker somewhere visible — front window, counter, or A-frame.
